Abstract:
To realize a technique in which an article placed at a transfer target location in a posture different from a desired holding posture can be held by a holding device in the desired holding posture.SOLUTION: With the width of the first direction Z of a held portion 91 as a first width, a holding drive portion 72 drives a pair of support portions 31 and 32 to a first posture in which the support portions 31 and 32 are separated such that the distance of the support portions becomes larger than the first width, and a second posture C2 in which the support portions 31 and 32 are brought closer such that the distance between the support portions is made smaller than the first width. A holding device 20 includes an interlocking mechanism 40 that changes an inclination angle A of the device main body 21 with respect to the horizontal plane H in conjunction with the posture change between the first posture and the second posture C2 of the pair of support portions 31 and 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
