Title:
TRANSVERSE FAN, FAN PIECE MOLDING DIE, AND MANUFACTURE OF FAN PIECE MOLDING DIE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3653144
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise such as a blade pitch noise while retaining ventilation performance, by outwardly curving against a fan shaft, a periphery mostly separated from the fan shaft and a periphery mostly positioned near to the fan shaft, respectively, in each blade.
SOLUTION: Blades 4 are so formed that their cross sectional shapes are formed into circular arc, and inclined at predetermined angles along a rotational direction against a fan shaft O, and a periphery 4a mostly separated from the fan shaft O and a periphery 4b mostly positioned near to the fan shaft O are outwardly curved against the fan shaft O. By such a constitution, a fan radius Ra being distance from the fan shaft O to each blade peripheral edge 4a is approximately equalized in any position on the peripheral edge 4a. Since the fan radius Ra of each blade 4 is approximately equalized, a nose clearance can be always approximatel,y equally formed regardless of the position of the peripheral edge 4a of each blade 4 opposed to a nose angle. As a result, static pressure distribution caused by the change of the nose clearance may not occur, and also occurrence of an abnormal noise can be reduced to a large extent.
