To provide a travel gear for a top-hinged swinging door, which is high in reliability in opening/closing of the top-hinged swinging door, excellent in practicality, and compact in structure.
The travel gear is comprised of a travel wheel 2, a movable guide wheel 7, and an energizing means 8. The travel wheel 2 is attached to an upper portion of the top-hinged swinging door B, for openably moving and guiding the door B hung therefrom, along a travel rail 1 which assumes a horizontal position and is arranged on a fixed portion D1. The movable guide wheel 7 is rollable along a rail surface of a sloped guide rail 4 which assumes a sloped position and is arranged on the fixed portion D1. The movable guide wheel 7 is vertically movable. The energizing means 8 energizes the movable guide wheel 7 to move toward the rail surface of the sloped guide rail 4. By using an energizing force of the energizing means 8 to move the movable guide wheel 7, a moving force in a closing direction is applied to the top-hinged swinging door B. Further, the travel gear is comprised of a restricting means E for restricting vertical movement of the top-hinged swinging door B by using the rail surface of the sloped guide rail 4 as one movement restricting surface 4A.
