Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a traveler-detaching device capable of surely carrying out detachment of a traveler with a simple motion, holding old traveler without flying the traveler and attaining labor saving by automation of traveler exchange.
CONSTITUTION: The objective device has a guide rod 71 freely movable to a ring of a ring spinning frame, a coil spring 72 wound around the guide rod 71, a pawl 73 formed at the tip of the coil spring 72 so as to hook a traveler 7 inserted into the ring and a driving means for rolling a traveler 7 through the pawl 73 in the coil spring 72 and moving the guide rod 71 so as to hold the traveler 7 between the coil spring 72 and the guide rod 71.
