To provide a traveling working machine capable of performing working at a correct working position even when a material speed is a low speed or a material is stopped.
The traveling working machine is provided with a tool support for cutting the material and is provided with a first working base 101 traveled by a first motor 102 rotating in one direction; a second working base 104 for reciprocatedly traveling the 102 base by a second motor rotating in one direction; a first working base control means 116 for inputting a signal corresponding to movement of the material and a signal corresponding to set length of the material, a stopping distance and a rotation of the first motor and controlling the first motor so as to follow the movement of the material; and a second working base control means 117 for inputting the signal corresponding to the movement of the material, the signal corresponding to rotation of the first motor, a signal corresponding to rotation of the second motor 105 and a stopping angle and controlling the second motor such that the second working base works the material with the first working base in the state that the first working base follows the movement of the material.
