Title:
TREATING METHOD FOR INCINERATED ASH CONTAINING HEAVY METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54162674
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to safely throw away or to bury in the ground in a comparatively short aging period, by coating aqueous emulsion mainly composed of craboxyl denatured acryl group copolymer on the surface and drying after solidifying incinerated ash contained heavy metals with cement.

CONSTITUTION: Elution of heavy metals is decreased by solidifying incinerated ash contained heavy metals with cement or adding craft pulp exhaust liquid or its denatured matter as additives at the time of solidification. Next, aqueous emulsion made of ploymer of vinyl monomer mainly composed of acrylic acid ester and mainl l composed of carboxyl denatured acryl group copolymer having more than one carboxyl radical in molecule, is coated on the above solidified material after drying the surface of the above material and water-proof film of copolymer is formed by drying. An increase of strength of solidified material and water tightness after that, are kept even if buried shortening aging period comparatively.
