Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a toner vessel and the size of the body of a copying machine and to reduce the cost of transportation or the unit cost of copying by carrying out treatment for increasing the density of a toner.
CONSTITUTION: When an electrophotographic toner is housed in a toner vessel 8, blocking is previously caused to the toner by heat treatment at a temp. below the glass transition temp. of a resin binder component forming the toner or the toner is further pressed with a press to further increase the density of the toner.
