To provide a treatment facility for infectious wastes which is low in facility cost itself and small in scale.
The treatment facility capable of sterilizing the infectious waste and discharging the waste to a general drainage is provided with: a mixing tank (mixer) 3 for mixing the infectious waste and pressurized steam; a discharging conduit 2 for supplying the infectious wastes to the mixing tank 3; a pressurized steam supplying conduit 4 for supplying the pressurized steam into the mixing tank 3; and a sterilization tank 7 which is provided on the downstream side of the mixing tank 3 and provided with a staying conduit 7B extended by a prescribed length inside and a heating means 7A for warming the sterilization tank to a prescribed temperature or higher than this for making the infectious wastes warmed in the mixing tank 3 stay for another prescribed period for sterilization.
