Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for treating various kinds of liquids such as the industrial water to produce pure water or desalted water, the industrial waste liquid produced by removal of heavy metals and the waste liq. produced by separating and recovering useful metals in seawater or by purifying medicines.
CONSTITUTION: A method for treating such various kinds of liquids which is characterized by using a fiber-like high-molecular substance having ion-exchange group introduced therein by radiation graft polymerization and activated carbon.
