PURPOSE: To make a waste building material contg. asbestos harmless and to produce a ceramic product by utilizing the waste building material contg. asbestos as the new material.

CONSTITUTION: At least aluminum oxide is mixed into a waste asbestos material in a specified ratio to obtain a specified composition, the mixture is calcined at ≥1220°C, and the waste asbestos material is disposed. Meanwhile, at least aluminum oxide is mixed into the waste asbestos material in a specified ratio to obtain a specified composition, and the mixture is formed, dried and then calcined at ≥1220°C to produce a ceramic product using the waste asbestos material.
