Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and efficiently enhance tsunami-resistant performance of a structure.SOLUTION: Pressure-resistant performance degradation measures for degrading pressure-resistant performance against a tsunami load are taken for a part of an exterior wall part 1 of an existing structure B. Thus, a pre-collapse section A, which pre-collapses when the tsunami load acts on the inside of the exterior wall part 1 of the structure B, is formed.
