PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tundish for casting a clean steel, in which particularly, fine inclusion becoming a problem in the casting of a high grade steel, is reduced and the clear steel can efficiently be produced, in a continuous casting executed by using the tundish.
SOLUTION: This tundish is provided with a molten steel receiving vessel 13 for receiving molten steel from a ladle 11, a molten steel supplying vessel 16 for supplying the molten steel into a mold, a molten steel passage 17 for connecting the molten steel receiving vessel 13 with the molten metal supplying vessel 16 and an electromagnetic stirring device 19 for giving rotating magnetic field to the molten steel in the molten steel passage 17. Further, a lower weir 21 for introducing the molten steel 12 poured into the inner part of the molten steel receiving vessel 16 from the ladle 11 in the molten steel surface direction, a blowing hole 20 for inert gas catching the inclusion in the molten steel passage 17 and a lower weir 22 and an upper weir 23 for introducing the molten steel 29 flowing into the inner part of the molten steel supplying vessel 16 from the molten steel passage 17 in the molten steel surface direction, are arranged.
