Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a twisting method capable of industrially producing yarn having natural unevenness similar to that obtained by manual spinning and giving a special comfortable feeling and a special beautiful feeling to people.
CONSTITUTION: In a process for twisting one or many yarns, the yarns 11 are twisted while the intensity of a series of signals having 1/f fluctuation is controlled to correspond to the number of twist. As the method for applying the 1/f fluctuation to the yarns 11, a method for applying a 1/f fluctuation signal to the rotational control of a feed motor 21 while keeping rotation of a spindle 41 constant, a method for applying the 1/f fluctuation signal to the rotational control of a spindle motor 22 while keeping a feed roller 31 constant and a method for applying the 1/f fluctuation signal to the rotational control of both the motors 21 and 22 are exemplified.
