Title:
TWO-LEVEL PRESSURIZING VALVE CONTROLLED BY FUEL METERING UNIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3910057
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection system which can size in optimum dimension a component element, by relaxing the conventional defect to limit fuel heating.
SOLUTION: A fuel injection system for a turbo machine comprises a high pressure pump 10 pressurizing fuel coming from a fuel tank 12 to a high pressure P1, a plurality of fuel injectors 16 arranged in a combustion chamber of the turbo machine 18, and a metering unit 14 interposed between the high pressure pump and a plurality of the injectors to control a flow amount of fuel flowing from the high pressure pump to the injector, the metering unit is characterized by providing a pressurizing valve 28 operated so as to occupy two pressure levels by a metering valve 22 with fuel supplied from the high pressure pump. Even a solenoid stop valve 26 acting to the pressure valve to interrupt supply of fuel relating to the injector is also provided.
