Title:
TWO-STEP TELESCOPIC WHIP ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3667672
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-step telescopic whip antenna which prevents an upper element from bending or folding its portion near a top metal fitting, using a very simple constitution.
SOLUTION: The antenna has a joint fitting 4 mounted on the top end of a lower element 3 for storing an upper element 2 in the lower element 3. The joint fitting 4 has an outside diameter, which is approximately equal to or less than the inner diameter of a spring part 7b in an insert hole of a support metal 7 provided on a cabinet. Thus the joint fitting 4 passes smoothly through the insert hole of the support metal 7 when the antenna is shed, and hence no stress is exerted on a portion of the upper element 2 near a top fitting 5 during storing of the antenna, thereby preventing this portion from bending or breaking.
