In a traveling vehicle having a clutch for performing the connection and disconnection of power between a front wheel drive input gear 69 for transmitting the power after gear shift and a front wheel drive output shaft 30, which is provided on the front wheel drive output shaft 30 so that two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive are switchable, meshing bodies 80a and 69a are provided on a slider 80 slidable on the front wheel drive output shaft 30 and the front wheel drive input gear 69, respectively. A pressing body 84 for sliding the meshing bodies in the releasing directions is integrally provided on the front wheel drive input gear 69, and a thrust bearing 85 is arranged between the slider 80 and the pressing body 84. The slider 80 is energized in the meshing direction of the meshing bodies by a plurality of springs 82 and 83 having different spring pressures.
