Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit by adopting start-stop system for a transmission circuit and a reception circuit, transmission signal via a driver and receiving a reception signal via a receiver and an exclusive OR gate. CONSTITUTION:A transmission circuit 1 acts so as to add a start/stop bit to an input data and send the result to a line 30 via a driver 4, and when a reception circuit 2 detects the start bit of a reception signal via an exclusive OR gate 5 and a receiver 6, the circuit 2 samples the reception data after the start bit by synchronizing the nominal speed clock in the middle of the start bit to extract the reception data and output it. Thus, the 2-wire bidirectional transmission is attained with a simple circuit constitution.
