Title:
ULTRA-HIGH STACK WITH DAMPING CONSTRUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3665882
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the earthquake resistance of a stack and make the structural body of the stack lighter by covering the outer periphery of an inner cylinder as a flue, connecting the inner cylinder to an outer cylinder with dampers thereby building a damping construction.
SOLUTION: An ultra-high stack is built by covering the outer periphery of an inner cylinder 2 as a flue with an outer cylinder 1 made of reinforced concrete, and a space between the inner cylinder 2 and an outer cylinder 1 is supported with supporting frames 4. And the supporting frame 4 is built by combining together a supporting frame 4a at outer cylinder side fixed to tone inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder with a supporting frame 4b at the inner cylinder side. Moreover, a supporting base 4a at the outer cylinder side and a supporting base 4b at the inner cylinder side are coupled together through dampers 5. In this way, the deadweight of the inner cylinder 2, stair, elevator and internal steel frame can be utilized as an additional mass, and vibration energy can be absorbed by increasing the additional weight.
