To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for determining whether or not remaining charged capacity of a battery power source is sufficient to drive the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in a use mode that a user desires.
The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus has a battery power source for supplying power to the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. An input part inputs a time of using the apparatus. A current measurement part measures output current of the battery power source. A calculation part calculates an elapsed time till the remaining charged capacity of the battery power source reaches a prescribed threshold on the basis of the output current of the battery power source. A comparison part compares the time of using the apparatus with the elapsed time. A notification part outputs prescribed notification information. A control unit controls the notification part so as to make it output the notification information when the result of comparison that the time of using the apparatus is longer than the elapsed time is obtained by the comparison part.
