Abstract:
To provide a simple holding mechanism that holds ultrasonic wave transmitter-receivers by stabilizing the fixation thereof to a measuring pipe passage part.SOLUTION: A fluid inlet 1b and a fluid outlet 1c are formed on both ends of a measuring pipe passage part 1a. The ends of the fluid inlet 1b and the fluid outlet 1c are connected to a separate fluid inlet pipe 1d and a separate fluid outlet pipe 1e, respectively. On both sides of the measuring pipe passage part 1a, attachment surfaces for ultrasonic wave transmitter-receivers 3 are formed as wall surfaces obliquely facing each other. On both sides of a holding member 2, box-like frames 2a and 2b are formed surrounding the attachment surfaces, and the fluid inlet 1b and the fluid outlet 1c of a conduit member 1. The frames 2a and 2b are connected to each other by a pair of springs 2h and 2i provided on their both sides. During assembly of the holding member 2, a space between the frames 2a and 2b is expanded by stretching the springs 2h and 2i, and then the ultrasonic wave transmitter-receivers 3 are pressed inward so as to be firmly fixed to the attachment surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
