Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply remove dust and mist contained in gas to be measured so as to stably measure a flow for a long term.
CONSTITUTION: Dust and mist stuck on ultrasonic transducers 2, 3 in a measuring pipe 1 in which gas flows, are broken away and removed while flow measurement by means of a flow converter 4 is not carried out, by changing switches S5, S6, S7 to b-contacts, impressing the drive power of resonant frequency fd in the radial direction to the ultrasonic transducers 2, 3 from a mist removing electric power source 21, and hence increasing amplitude in the radial direction and applying shearing force on mist.
