Abstract:

PURPOSE: The titled film, prepared by applying an adhesive mass, etc. to the rear of an ultrathin film obtained bt kenading a pigment in a flexible plastic, e.g. polyethylene, and protecting the coated film with a separator, and capable of coloring evenly any uneven surface by the easy application.

CONSTITUTION: A pigment 2 in an amount of preferably 25% is kneaded in a flexible plastic 1, e.g. polyethylene or polyester, to give an ultrathin film having a thickness of 10W20μ. A pressure-sensitive adhesive 3 is applied to the rear thereof and then protected with a separator 4 to give the aimed film (A). An irregular uneven surface can be exactly reproduced by applying the resultant film (A) to a material 5 to be colored. Preferably, a general pigment or extender pigment of the same quality or color as kneaded in the pigment 2 is kneaded in the adhesive mass.

EFFECT: The use of a powerful pigment and adhesive renders the film useful as a building material for outdoor use for a long term.
