To solve the problem that at night when raining, visibility of a pedestrian, who walks holding an umbrella, becomes considerably low and in a conventional umbrella with lighting, a light source is dot-like, thereby sufficient illuminating effects are not obtained.

On an inside surface of an umbrella, an organic EL panel is placed and light is emitted on the inside in a planar manner, thereby visibility of a pedestrian holding an umbrella is improved. A charge part is incorporated in a handle part and the handle part is separable from an umbrella body. Thus, only the handle part can be charged independently without bringing the umbrella body in the room.
