Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor equipment monitor system that checks rolling stock underfloor equipment quickly and quantitatively just after the rolling stock starts operating.
SOLUTION: This underfloor equipment monitor system comprises rolling stock sensors 2 and 4 for detecting traveling rolling stock 34, a rolling stock type identification means 16 for identifying the traveling rolling stock 34, a speed sensor 8 for measuring the traveling speed of the rolling stock 34, a heat sensor 10 for measuring the temperature distribution of the underfloor equipment of the rolling stock 34 just after its operation in a noncontact manner while it travels, and a decision means 14 for correcting the temperature distribution measured by the heat sensor 10 in dependence on the traveling speed of the rolling stock 34 measured by the speed sensor 8 to detect a temperature abnormality in the underfloor equipment on the basis of the correction data.
