Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof shooter type ink jet print head, in which jets can be highly densely arranged, respective parts can have enough strength and, in addition, the wiping at maintenance or the like can be easily performed and the injection efficiency and injection characteristics of which are good.
SOLUTION: A head chip 1 is provided so as to place in some part over the opening 3 provided on a heat sink 2. A flow path forming member is bonded onto the head chip 1 and then extends to the heat sink 2 so as to form a thick portion. A joint 6 is sealed between the head chip 1 and the flow path forming member 4 so as to form an ink supplying chamber 8 by the edge faces of the joint 6, of the flow path forming member 4 and of the head chip 1. Ink is supplied from an ink supplying pipe 7 through the ink supplying chamber 1 to the heating element on the head chip 1 so as to be jetted from a jet 5.
