Abstract:
To provide an uninterruptible power supply device using a flywheel capable of being used also for instantaneous drop countermeasure and supplying power for few hours.SOLUTION: Upon occurrence of power failure of voltage drop, blackout or the like of an electric system, an uninterruptible power supply device using a flywheel for continuously supplying AC power to an electric load can continuously generate power by connecting an engine driven with a fuel to the flywheel by a clutch when an engine speed of the flywheel reduces and driving the engine by inertia using torque of the flywheel and maintaining flywheel rotation by the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
