Abstract:
To change train schedules automatically when operation is thinned out.
Thinning out parameters, (i.e., thinning out intervals thinning out rate, types of train not subject to thinning out, duration of thinned out service) are entered from an operation terminal. These are recorded in a thinning out condition database 7. Using a train schedule database 3 and the thinning out condition database 7, a thinned out train service extractor 6 prepares a thinned out service candidate list 9. A route list 8 is also prepared. Then a starting station list 10, a through-service station list 11, and a terminating station list 12 are obtained for the thinned out service candidates and the train schedule after the thinning out is generated.
