Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a building without being restricted in the number of building units assembled in the horizontal direction.
SOLUTION: An unit type building 10 is so designed that each building part 12 may be connected to each other by way of an expansion joint 20. An accumulated error in the horizontal direction produced by building units 14 to 16 from a first story to a third story is allowed due to this expansion joint 20. This construction makes it possible to connect each of the building parts 12 without causing any troubles and construct the unit type building 10 so that the first story to third story building units ranging from 14 to 16 are disposed beyond the restriction in the prior art.
