Abstract:
To correct tilt of a movable body around the axis line by means of a less torque motor.SOLUTION: A unit 1 with rolling mechanism includes a movable body 3 having an optical module 10 for imaging, a support medium 2 capable of supporting the movable body 3 rotatably about an axis line L parallel with the optical axis of the optical module 10, and a rotary drive mechanism 4 for rotating the movable body 3 about the axis line L. The rotary drive mechanism 4 performs rolling correction of the movable body 3 by driving a motor 40 on the basis of detection results of an inertial sensor 5. The movable body 3 and the rotor 44 of the motor 40 are coupled to rotate integrally about the axis line L. Since the center of gravity is adjusted so that the gravity G of a body of rotation 7 including the movable body 3 and the rotor 44 is located on the axis line L of the body of rotation 7, the torque required for rolling correction is small, and the posture of the movable body 3 can be maintained by means of a compact motor 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
