Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rationalily arrange components of an unloading device to reduce the weight of the device and to stabilize a hull, and improve the efficiency and operability of unloading work of bulk cargo.
CONSTITUTION: A jib 8 formed into a portal shape in the width direction of a ship, is installed in a state where it can be freely tilted in either side of the front and rear directions of a hull with respect to a post 7 on a moving support frame 5 moving while straddling over a hold 2. A bucket 16 for scooping up earth and sand 3 in the hold 2 is hung by a wire 12 stretched over a sheave 15 at the tip 8d of the jib 8, and a hopper 9 for receiving the earth and sand 3 scooped by the bucket 16 is installed on the moving support frame 5 on the side to which the jib 8 is tilted. A winch 11 for winding up or delivering the wire 12 for tilting the jib 8 and lifting and lowering the bucket 16 is arranged on the moving support frame 5, and a crossfeed device 19 for moving the earth and sand 3 thrown from the bucket 16 to the hopper 9 and transferring the earth and sand 3 on a carrying-out conveyor extending longitudinally at the ship side, is installed below the hopper 9.
