Abstract:

To carry out traveling control of high reliability with no error and of high control freedom by burying inductive wires passing prescribed frequency signals to a traveling route in a backbone shape and arranging magnetic bars to show an address from a branch part along each of the inductive wires buried in the backbone shape alternately left and right.

Inductive wires 4 (4a, 4b...) to automatically steer and travel a reach automatic guided forklift truck by a generated induced voltage difference by receiving a specified frequency signal along a traveling route of the forklift truck are buried in a backbone shape, and magnetic bars 7 to show an address from a branch part of each of the inductive wires 4 are arranged alternately left and right and so as to vertically cross with the inductive wires 4. Additionally, a changeover device 6 to be controlled to work by a command signal from a central command device 5 is provided on a part of the inductive wires 4. Additionally, the command signal to stop a traveling motor and make it carry out prescribed cargo handling work by counting the number of the magnetic bars 7 and when it matches the prescribed number is generated in a control device installed on a car body of the forklift truck.
