Title:
UNMANNED FLYING BODY PROVIDED WITH ROCKET MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04262996
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suspend a plurality of unmanned flying bodies in parallel from the main wing of a loading mother plane to conduct an independent flight by providing a main wing housed developably in a fuselage, a horizontal tail plane capable of slanting and a rocket engine.

CONSTITUTION: A thrust of an unmanned flying body 10 is obtained from the combustion of gunpowder to drive a rocket engine 20. The main wing 18 is normally housed in the fuselage 12 to be developed for the flight. The horizontal tail plane (tailerlon) 22 is supported slantably by a rotary shaft 221 at the rear of the fugelage 12. Prior to the launching, the altitude and descending rate to be held are memorized in an electronic control circuit of a flight controller 15 by a control panel on a launching device on the ground or a loading mother plane, and after the launching, the values of an altitude sensor and orientation sensor are compared with set values to send a track correcting signal to a servo controller of the flight controller 15. A motor of a tailerlon actuator 23 is operated according to the signal to slant the horizontal tail plane 22.
