Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a coating film, a cured product, etc., excellent in cracking resistance and ultraviolet curability by mixing a maleic acid-based unsaturated polyester containing triethylene glycol as the principal glycol component with a polymerizable monomer and a photopolymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is obtained by mixing a maleic acid-based unsaturated polyester containing triethylene glycol as the principal glycol component with a polymerizable monomer (e.g. styrene) and a photopolymerization initiator (e.g. benzoin). This composition excels in the balance between cracking resistance and ultraviolet curability and hence can give an excellent coating film, molding or the like and is useful for especially an ultraviolet-curable coating material or a coating material for metal or wood.
