Abstract:
To obtain an unsaturated polyester resin composition having improved gloss retention and color fastness and containing reduced amount of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer and provide its applied product.
This unsaturated polyester resin composition comprises (A) an unsaturated polyester and (B) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer and its cured product having 3 mm thickness has ≥60% gloss retention % (gloss retention after 2000 hours of the weathering test using a sunshine weatherometer based on IBO standard after 2000 hours) and ≤20 color difference (measured according to JISZ 8722 after the weathering test for gloss retention).
