Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition useful for galvanized sheet metal, etc., having excellent curing properties, storage stability, adhesivity and water resistance, comprising an ethylenic unsaturated monomer, an unsaturated polyester resin, a filler and a specific metal salt in a specific ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition comprises (A) 0-25 pts.wt. ethylenic unsaturated monomer such as styrene, (B) 20-50 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester resin, (C) 30-70 pts.wt. filler such as tale and (D) 0.3-3 pts.wt. metal salt containing a metal (e.g. cobalt, manganese or copper) of group VIIB, VIII and IB of the periodic table.
