Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of discoloration of an elastic paving member prepared by hot-press molding and obtain the subject nonyellowing type composition without deteriorating the essential color possessed by chips even when using the light- and bright-colored chips by reacting an aliphatic isocyanate, etc., with a specified active hydrogen compound.
SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by formulating (A) an aliphatic and/or an alicyclic isocyanate (preferably isophorone diisocyanate, etc.) with (B) an active hydrogen compound comprising at least a 1,2-vinyl bonded polyhydroxybutadiene polymer so as to provide 1.5-10.0 molar ratio (NCO/OH) of the components B to A and reacting the components A with B. The number- average molecular weight of the 1,2-vinyl bonded polyhydroxybutadiene polymer is preferably 600-3,500 and the equivalent ratio thereof to other active hydrogen compounds (e.g. polyoxypropylene glycol) is preferably (1/9) to <(10/0).
