Abstract:
To identify a composition exhibiting excellent performances for enhancing drug bioavailability, particularly enhancing drug bioavailability by enhancing net drug absorption and/or reducing drug biotransformation in the intestinal wall by inhibiting cytochrome P450 drug metabolism and/or inhibiting P-glycoprotein (P-gp) drug transport.
One or more kinds of essential oils are concurrently administered with one or more kinds of oral pharmaceutical compounds (drugs) thereby to enhance bioavailability of the drug.
