Abstract:
To obtain a cosmetic composition having no recognizable side effect and drug dependence, capable of reducing or eliminating pruritus, pain and dysesthesia of eye and eyelid by including a substance P antagonist.
This composition preferably includes 0.000,005-5 wt.% of the substance P antagonist (e.g.; sendide or the like) in a medium permissible as a cosmetic. The prescribed composition is capable of formulating in such a form as an aqueous solution, water-alcohol solution or the like, optionally using 0.01-10% an auxiliary substance such as a gelling agent, activator, preservative, antioxidant, solvent, fragrant or the like. This composition is used as an eye lotion, ointment or the like for a therapy and a make up product such as a pencil, mascara or the like is used for protection and maintenance of eye.
