PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user not to concentrate on a specified machine for generating the presentation of information but to concentrate on the answer of a question supported by an interface.
SOLUTION: While using an expandable natural word, an inquiry based on the natural word is expressed by converting it to the set of a data base inquiry and information to be provided to the user. Concretely, concerning the natural word inquiry, it is determined whether a complete data base inquiry can be formed on the basis of the natural word inquiry or not and when the inquiry can be formed, by specifying which complete data base inquiry is to be formed, the natural word inquiry is converted to the data base inquiry.
