PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface that improves operability upon selecting one of a plurality of selectable items with respect to a touch panel provided on a display.SOLUTION: A touch input detection unit 102 is configured to detect a touch input to a touch panel 160 provided on a display 140, and a touch position detection unit 104 is configured to detect a touch start position of the detected touch input, and a movement distance of the touch position. A distance calculation/setting unit 106 is configured to calculate the movement distance from the touch start position, and set an item switch distance. An item switch determination unit 108 is configured to determine one item of a plurality of items selectable by users in accordance with the movement distance where the touch position moves from the touch start position, and an image creation unit 110 is configured to cause an image including the selected one item to be displayed on the display, and if a touch-off is detected when the selected item is displayed, a function execution unit 112 is configured to execute a function corresponding to the item.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
