Abstract:
To provide a vacuum cleaner that has a means for absorbing a shock when a suction nozzle touches furniture, a wall or the like.
Between the suction nozzle 16 and a hand operating pipe 14 of the vacuum cleaner, a spring coil 28 urging in an extending direction is interposed. The vacuum cleaner can absorb a shock when the suction nozzle 16 touches furniture, a wall or the like by virtue of compressive deformation of the spring coil 28. A shock absorbing pipe for a vacuum cleaner having such a shock absorbing means can be used in a conventional vacuum cleaner to produce the same effect.
