Abstract:
To provide a vacuum cleaner with excellent handleability at a low cost while suppressing power source harmonics and suppressing vibrations from a motor simultaneously by controlling the motor.
A plurality of taps 1c-1h are taken out from the stators 1a and 1b of the motor 1, the input of the motor 1 is switched by switching the taps, phase control is performed in a range in which a phase difference between a large phase and a small phase is a prescribed value or less, and thus the vibrations generated from the motor 1 are suppressed. Also, by switching the taps in the region of low power source harmonics, the level of a power source harmonic current is turned low in the entire region.
