To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of driving a dust removing member in a simple constitution.
This vacuum cleaner is provided with a cleaner body 20 having a dust collection part 60 and an electric blower 33 applying a suction negative pressure to the dust collection part 60, filters F1-F3 and 100 separating the dust sucked to the dust collection parts 60 and 74 along with air by the negative pressure of the electric blower 33, and the dust removing member 304 applying vibration to a pleated filter 100 and removing the dust stuck to the face in the upstream side of the pleated filter 100. Alternatively, this vacuum cleaner is provided with a body carrying handle 200 vertically movably attached to the cleaner body 20 between a storage position in the upper face of the cleaner body 20 and a use position raised upward therefrom, a coil spring 323 energizing the handle 200 in the storage position side, and a power transmission means 300A interlocked with the vertical movement of the handle 200 and driving the dust removing member 304.
