Abstract:
To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of reliably cooling a winding start part of a power cable wound to a cord reel.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises: a power cable 11 for guiding power to a vacuum cleaner; and a cord reel 12 including a cylindrical trunk 41 which can wind and wind off the power cable 11, is provided on a part exposed to exhaust air discharged from the vacuum cleaner, and allows the power cable 11 to be wound thereto and a pair of flange parts 42 each of which is provided on one/the other of end parts of the trunk 41 and supports the power cable 11 wound to the trunk 41 in a wound state. The cord reel 12 comprises: first salient parts 61 which protrude from an outer peripheral face 41a of the trunk 41 and which are jointed to one flange part 51 for extending toward the other flange part; and second salient parts 62 which protrude from an outer peripheral face 41a of the trunk 41 and are jointed to the other flange part for extending toward one flange part 51. The first salient parts 61 and the second salient parts 62 are alternately provided in a rotary direction of the cord reel 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
