PURPOSE: To automatically make the rotating direction of a rotary brush forward and backward, to reduce the operating force and to improve the dust collection efficiency by controlling the rotating direction of a rotary brush motor of a motor-driven type floor suction tool, based on a signal from a pressure sensitive sensor for detecting a degree of external force.
CONSTITUTION: Even if a rotary ON-OFF switch 6 is closed on a floor 15, and a motor- driven type floor suction tool 14 is moved forward and backward, no force is applied to a movable part 1, therefore, a control means 7 turns on transistors 9, 10, and the suction tool turns only in the forward direction. As a result, it is convenient in order to scrape up refuse at the time when the suction port is clogged therewith. Subsequently, when the motor-driven type floor suction tool 14 is moved in the forward direction on a carpet 16, pile of the carpet 16 pushes the movable part 1, and it is separated from the pressure sensitive sensor 3, therefore, a rotary brush 13 rotates in the forward direction and operating force becomes light. Also, when the suction tool 14 is moved in the backward direction, the movable part 1 pushes the pressure sensitive sensor 3, the control means 7 turns on transistors 11, 12, the rotary brush 13 is rotated in the backward direction and operating force becomes light.
