PURPOSE: To provide a vane used for a compressor using substitutive Flon as a refrigerant and improving its wear resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This vane is constituted of high speed tool steel having compsn., preferably, contg. 1.0 to 2.5% C, ≤1.5% Si,≤1.0% Mn and 3 to 6% Cr as well as one or two kinds of ≤ 20% W and ≤ 12% Mo as to regulate 15 to 28% W+2Mo and 3.5 to 10% of one or two kinds of V and Nb and contg., at need, 1 to15% of one or two kinds of Co and Ni, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and in which, on the surface of a base metal constituted of steel in which carbides are uniformly dispersed in the matrix and their average grain diameter is regulated to ≤ 1.5μm and the maximum grain diameter to ≤6μm, a nickel-phosphorus plated layer in which fluorinated resin grains are dispersed is formed.
