Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the easy variance of the ground camber of wheels by fitting the upper connection member of wheel support members so as to be movable in the widthwise direction of a vehicle body, and connecting an actuator to the fitting position of said upper member for varying said camber. CONSTITUTION:A wheel support member 1 is connected to a lower connection member 3 laid in the widthwise direction of a vehicle body and to an upper connection member 4 laid in the widthwise or lengthwise direction. In the aforesaid suspension construction, the upper connection member 4 is so fitted as to be movable in the widthwise direction of the vehicle body and an actuator 15 for changing the ground camber of wheels is connected to the fitting position of said member 4 on the body. According to the aforesaid constitution, the upper connection member 4 is exposed to a less load than the lower connection member 3, and easily movable with the actuator 15. Also, the characteristic change of the suspension can be restrained to a small extent and the deposit of dusts and the like on the actuator 15 can be restrained.
