Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the best focal length by the same spectacles by charging transparent liquid and adjusting its pressure. CONSTITUTION:Both external surfaces which form a lens are made of both hard transparent bodies 1 and 2. The peripheral parts of both the hard transparent bodies 1 and 2 are deformed so that they can be joined together directly; and they are joined in a sealed state except a lens-side adjusting opening 4. The inside is filled with the transparent body 3 to form the lens and the pressure of the transparent liquid 3 in the lens is adjusted through the lens-side adjusting opening 4 to alter the curved surfaces of one or both of the hard transparent bodies 1 and 2, thereby varying the focal length. Consequently, the best focal length is obtained with the same spectacles.
