Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of mechanical adjustment in an assembling line by electrically storing the infinity position of a focusing lens group, which is changed according to the extending position of a variable power lens group, in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:the infinity position of the focusing lens group 3, which is changed according to the variable power position of the variable power lens groups 2, is electrically stored in a closest/infinity extending quantity arithmetic part 9, and the focusing lens group 3 is to be prevented from getting over the infinity position in the middle of focusing. Then, a reference value for detecting the extending quantity of the focusing lens group 3 according to the variable power position is decided, the extending quantity of the focusing lens group 3 is obtained from the reference value, and a photographing distance is obtained based on the extending quantity from the reference value. Thus, the adjustment of a mechanical stopper in the assembling line is not necessitated, and also an adjusting member is not necessitated. Then, automatic adjustment is accomplished, an adjusting stage is reduced and a cost is reduced.
