Abstract:
To provide screening methods for PKCη-expression modulating substances being potential candidates of malignant tumor-treating agents and hair growth controller, and vectors and transformants for use in the methods as well as PKCη-expression inhibitors obtained by the screening methods.SOLUTION: The invention provides a vector containing a nucleic acid having a base sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:1 or NO:2 upstream a reporter gene, a transformant including the same, a screening method for inhibitors of PKCη expression comprising the following steps (A), (B) and (C) using the transformant, as well as PKCη expression inhibitors obtained by the screening method, where (A) exposing the transformant to a test substance; (B) measuring the expression level of the reporter gene; (C) selecting a PKCη expression modulating substance of interest using the measurement result as an indicator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
